Annual Family Picnic
Thursday, September 28*, 5:00 p.m.
At the Terry Trueblood Recreation Area
Free for JCBA members

Mark your calendar for September 28 for the annual Johnson County Bar Association family picnic! The picnic will be at the Terry Trueblood Recreation Area in Iowa City, which means there will be plenty of outdoors to explore and play games with food and tables inside in case of questionable weather. We are pleased that the Neuzil family has agreed to provide their regular spread of barbecue pork sandwiches (and famous homemade sauerkraut!), with the Bread Garden providing vegetarian fare and desserts as well as bar service. Festivities get under way at 5:00 p.m.

This event is a great way to spend time with colleagues and get to know each other outside of the hallowed halls of courthouses and conference rooms. We will have games for kids as well, so please plan on making this a full family affair.

As always, the JCBA is pleased to offer this picnic at no cost to JCBA members and families. Please RSVP to spaflegal@spaflegal.com, or call Joe Pavelich at 319-337-4193 so we know how much food and drink we should have on hand. Are you a local attorney but not yet a JCBA member? Joe Pavelich can help you get your membership squared away before the picnic, too.
Note: the date for this event was originally publicized as September 21. It will be September 28.
